The hypocrisy is astounding

The Supreme Court does their job. EXTRA EXTRA, read, all about it! I know, earth shattering news. Under “ethics pressure”. Honestly what the fuck does that mean? Chief Justice Roberts wants to remind us all that the justices are not allowed to just do ANYTHING. Come on guys. They want to set the record straight! We are regulated! They are pleading the court officials to investigate the code to ensure it is up to the highest standards! Don’t you feel better already? This WHOLE time they were under a code of ethics, duh, but we just need a reminder. Whew, I thought this whole time they were working WITHOUT a code. What a relief.

How do I not laugh? How do I take these people seriously? I just can’t even wrap my head around this nonsense. Reminds me of the headline that I now can’t fucking find but went something like “should a person who is being investigated for fraud and treason be allowed to be president?” or “should a person who commits fraud be allowed to be president?”. Apparently, we all need time to ponder this. Hmmmmm… what do you think guys? Should we allow this? Maybe this time, they will listen to the people! Oh, sorry, i’m laughing again, seriously roaring with laughter.

There have been lots of inquiries trying to figure out how many days does legislature ACTUALLY work a year? Is this number worth the salaries? Is this number worth the all the perks and benefits of government jobs? Is this number good enough to justify endless earnings of tax breaks, stock dividends, superpacs, election funds…. Let's not pretend the politician works for the people. A humble existence of a civil servant. Oh sorry, laughing again. But remember, working as a community organizer is laughable experience. While a clown can be president. ANY kid who says “I want to be President”.. if they are white, a male, have some business and political connections, wealth, perhaps a legacy admission… You can commit treason. You can be a rapist. You can go courtroom to courtroom attending cases about fraud, greed, lies, even thousands of times!.. It is possible kid. You don’t have to have ANY experience WHATSOEVER. No one will laugh at you!. You too can be a Brett Kavanaugh. You too can be a Trump.

Horrifying. The reaction I had to reading that story... the more time that passes, the sicker I get. Women can’t get their medical records, can’t have miscarriages, can’t have abortions, can’t use birth control, can’t have sex, can’t receive justice for rape, can’t get equal pay, I mean maybe all of us should just get in the prison cells now. At this point I’m not wondering if, but when, my brain will explode. I am regularly encased in red mist, and have always had a “short fuse” as they say... but now it’s starting to crackle and pop. What is happening. What continues to happen. What clearly never stopped happening. Time to get the red robes out... again.

Another fun fact— highest rate of police (who are notoriously overworked, underpaid, and expected to handle every fucking problem ever) killing people with guns and the worst, pathetic, short police requirements and training.
